Bug eyesby fleenkComment by ozdick: Excellent macro shot - great colours and clarity. If I was going to be picky, the blade of grass to the left of the bug is a little distracting as it cuts off its front legs and because of that your eyes are drawn to it, which then isn't in focus |

Bug eyesby fleenkComment by alanfreed: I think there's a big difference between you and me. You saw this and grabbed your camera... If I had seen it, I would have taken up sprinting :) Quite an interesting find! The lighting seems a wee bit harsh, but it's certainly an interesting shot! |

Bug eyesby fleenkComment by tragicharpy: spooky, could have improved it in my opinion by getting a bit lower, but if this is on the ground i can see why you couldnt good pic 7 |

Bug eyesby fleenkComment by hortopth: good example of where a tilt works well. Nice shot. (would actually be good in a biology textbook for deceptive colouring) |

Dad's Ole Shoeby fleenkComment by slackm: It's a shame that the brightest parts of the picture are just behind the flowers, taking the eye away from them. |

Dad's Ole Shoeby fleenkComment by JPR: Cool subject. never thought of doing that with my old shoes. The light seems a bit bright at the top, which is especially bad because that's where the interesting part of your subect was (the flowers). Other than that I find this shot appealing. Maybe you could have taken it and put it somewhere simpler like a grass field and shot it. I guarantee that if you took the boot and flowers and put them on a mirror with a reflection of nice clouds you'd get a pretty fanciful score! Cheers. |
