outstanding image! I am always torn with a shot like this deciding how much of the shadows to expose. Too much and you loose the mystery, too little and you loose frame of reference. This image looks almost perfect, I might have exposed a touch more in those dark mids. well done!

I'm not a fan of the yellow tone and smoke has quite a minor role. It stays a very good portrait though.

Love that wary expression. Nice focus on the eye. Not sure about cropping the chin. Someone once told me that is a cardinal rule but what do I know. LOL

Did you ever figure out where it leads? Thats kinda strange, maybe if it weren't so backlit, alot more detail could be seen, and that little house pulls some attention away, but I would have taken this shot too, regardless.
