CD-Rom Driveby ExcelsiorComment by Dave Gordon: It may not be fair, but after looking at about half a dozen shots of CD ROM drives, hard drives or other internal computer parts it isn't possible to look at one without recalling the ones that had unusual lighting, reflections off metal and other standout features. This is a nice shot, but it's entered in a tough field. |

CD-Rom Driveby ExcelsiorComment by visitor: More stirpped down PC hardware. Personally I have yet to rip apart HDDs or CD ROM drive.
Image wise the lighting seems very flat and as a consequence there is no one point of main interest.
Challenge wise not greatly met in the present company. |

CD-Rom Driveby ExcelsiorComment by Neuferland: So that is what it looks like! ;) Nice shot, good idea and the lighting is very well done. The only thing to me is the DOF or the lack of focus on the bottom of the shot and the eye looks a tad fuzzy. Starting with a 7 but I will come back and look again! |
