Powerful, emotive, well-composed, and perfect for this challenge. I have looked at all the thumbnails and this is the strongest image in the challenge, IMHO. Technically a great photo, but (personally, obviously) the picture alone feels a tad abstract from the 'entrance' theme.

Excellent! I love this photo! The tonal range is good, I like the way the figure is sitting with his bare feet showing and the knife, bottle and cigarettes lying in the corner really add to the 'story'.

Great shot and take on the challenge. Nice touch with the broken bottle, knife and cigs. I love the side lighting like a high window in jail. Excellent composition and contrast. This would have made a great B/W portrait entry too...The only thing negative I can see is the two bright spots on his right side...just a little distracting to me. (9)
