Cosy Lightby jajoneComment by p_johns: I would have rated it higher if I could see what was in the photo frame and the candles and the picture in the background were either more visible or not there. Great idea though! |

Cosy Lightby jajoneComment by skief: Feel like I need an armchair and a good book to go with that lighting. With the picture being dark and faced the other way, draws me away from picture, maybe you could have tilted the picture toward the light keep my attention on the photo. |

Cosy Lightby jajoneComment by shadow: yes it is indeed a cozy photo. I like it but would like to comment that the upper left of this image, is that a photo hanging on the wall? removing that completely from the image, or making it more visible will improve my score on this. 7 |

I am not sure about the thing on the wall on the left and the photo. They are both distracting. I love the flower pot thingy and the candelabra. Nice job. |

Green (and brown horses)by jajoneComment by jmsetzler: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Jajone...
The color in your photo is excellent... It definitely meets the challenge with no problems...
This shot is also a nice simple landscape... the two horses really add a nice element to the otherwise boring scene. Without the horses, there would not be much to see other than simple color.
As I look at this photo, I see a smaller composition that I feel would be very strong as well... The horse in the lower left corner... I believe that focusing on that and filling the entire frame with it woudl make a really great shot as well... That would also obviously change the entire theme of what you were shooting here, but I just wanted to possibly point out an opportunity for you...
Excellent shot and keep up the good work :)
