Trans World Skateboardingby photogirl66Comment by buck4free: Nice capture, would have liked to see more of the skateboarder fill the frame, instead of the surrounding concrete. I think maybe a side angle would have workeed better too, then we could have seen his legs spread out, whereas now, that front leg looses its dimension. |

Trans World Skateboardingby photogirl66Comment by RiderGal: Great mid air catch! I would have liked to have seen the shutter speed just a little bit faster to keep the kids hand in focus. I like the way the people are all sitting there watching him... might have been cool to have the two at the end watching and the two with the skateboards both doing some sort of trick. It looks like there is tons of space at the bottom but not a lot at the top, I think I would have liked a little more room at the top for type. I also think zooming in on the kid, and getting him more in the picture and less cement might have been more dramatic. |

Trans World Skateboardingby photogirl66Comment by Koriyama: "Local Skateboarding" would have been a better title. There are 2 things that I really like in this shot - 1. The use of space below the jumping boy. There's a dynamic movement here. 2. The line of heads drawing us through the frame. |

Oil in glass on fireby photogirl66Comment by FranziskaLang: Challenge met. Cool concept. Flames are hard to photograph because they always blow out, this one is borderline, but I guess you couldn't have reduced the shutterspeed more, you would've lost the rest of the image. I really like the wick coiling through the container. Two things that I think would improve your photo are fully centering or moving the lamp further off-center and filling the lamp all the way with oil to remove the line where it currently ends. |

Oil in glass on fireby photogirl66Comment by Amiee: Nice image. I like the effect that the dark lighting and the flame that helps make the image interesting. The only thing is that this photo doesnt have much clarity. |
