I think perhaps the figures should have been total silhouettes, or else lit with flash to see more of them. Partial lighting seems awkward to me.

Four boys looking up at the sky hardly represent surrealism. A better angle of the four subjects (including them in in the sky) woudl've help the composition. Perharps a complet counter-light effect would've help give this pic some power. An Auto-Level in photoshop would've help this pic a lot. 3
