crop to close looses effect would have been better if the whole carriage was in the shot.

Back to comment: Sorry to say but this is more of a candid photo than a portrait in my opinion. This image would be easier to accept as a portrait of the coachmen if it were more closely cropped and you could see both of their faces. The color and focus are nicely done but the cropped of back end of the buggy looks a little odd.

Not really a portrait. Needs to decide who/what is the subject and focus on that.

This is a really great picture, I like the composition and the colors, but I don't really know that this a portrait, but still a wonderful image.

Which one is alone? Perhaps differential focusing would had helped!

Comment by GrayGhost:
Nice idea. Is the main subject supposed to be Yogi or the ghost? Some additional separation would clarify, although color separation with Yogi might be a challenge. The background seems to suffer from oversharpening / overprocessing, try moving the figures further away from the background for some DOF separation.

I think this might have worked better if you left out the ghost and kept more color so Yogi stood out as being really different. Or left Yogi out and kept the ghost. An even tighter focus on your "alone" subject would also help.
