Drop dead gorgeous photo. Very nice color, focus and texture. I always like water droplets on flowers! Challenge - indeterminate - no frame of reference to say this is looking down/up/sideways (closest clue is the water droplets and they suggest sideways to me). 6 Swash

It's not a matter of distrust. I am MORE than happy to take it on trust that this was shot from above. It's a case of the image itself not reflecting that in it's content and therefore not SHOWING me the challenge theme within it.
I do like the image though but am marking a little lower for not SHOWING that it meets the challenge. (Which is different from not meeting the challenge in terms of the actual taking).

Lovely rose, but there is no reference point to indicate whether this photo was taken from above or from the sides. The color is gorgeous.
