I know I'm late responding, but I had to reply since you asked... First of all, your comment cracked me up. This photo went forever without a comment and yours was the first. Thanks!

And yes, they did know. This is my brother's car. I had him meet me on his break just so I could take this photo. I set the camera for a 13 sec exposure and had him hit the lights for about 1 second. If I had to do it again, I'd set up the camera so the building wasn't visible in the picture... I thought it was distracting.

I really liked JulieG's photo. When I saw it during voting, I was surprised (and disappointed) that someone had the same idea. I was the first to comment on her photo (being my first challenge, I was eager to see the competition). I gave it a 10. I guess I liked it so much because it was the same idea... and I thought she nailed it.

Thank you! My goal was to be in the top 25% (or score over 5.5) and I just made it. I'm pleased with it and will have to work hard to get a better score next time!

Boy, this meets the challenge perfectly! For my taste, a bit less grain would be awesome, but maybe you intended to have the graininess. I really like the tones and the fact that the little girl is looking right into the camera. The angle of the hand and the way you cropped it at an angle adds a nice dynamic to the image.

Somethings just remind me of being a kid, and that feeling of freedom we never knew we had. This is one of them. Very nice! I am seeing quite a bit of noise though.
