Wall has been shot up with shell in the war. Pic is taken in Osijek, Croatia.. and yes, war is ended here 10 years ago.. :-) it lasted from 1991 to 1993...

that sign means that you entering a street with no exit on the other side... on a croatian language we say something like "blind street"..

Love the barren dismal mood of this image. The Battered wall and cold snow contrast very well to the bright signage. Perfect composition, DOF and lighting. Good location shot that makes a statement

But you did a great job of photographing it: the holes in the concrete, plaster and concrete knocked off, small holes in the bricks, and a large area of the bricks blown away. Sure looks like a bad place to be sitting on a bench. Great details in the photo, and nice lighting. Focus and cropping real good. Good composition and real nice execution. It's a 9.

This is a great shot, very interesting wall behind and great use of title to tell a story. Perhaps colour saturation could be boosted a bit on the sign.
