I like this, but the colours of the books are too plastic, I think this would have been better off in black and white. The light is good though.

This was a very difficult challenge for your first entry on DPC. I hope you weren't discouraged by your score. I'd love to see more of your work. You'll see that some will score well and some won't, and it's not always a true indicator of your pictures quality. Sometimes the voters just don't get it, or they are in a hurry, or a lousy mood, or they don't connect with the subject. Keep trying, and you will learn a lot here.

Interesting perspective (which is the idea right?). One of my favorites so far. I love the blown out window at the end and also the isles..kinda weird I know. Anyway this is a wonderful photo, thanks. One negative for me is that it seems like the left books are softer focus than the right? That is probably just an optical illusion.
