preparing images for submission to challenges Your file size istoo small and you are getting lots of pixelation in your drops and edges. your image size is 55 kb and the allowable is 150 kb. You have a nice shot but I think alot f people will mark you down because the image is too pixellated.

There's something in this photo that's not quite right and I think it' caused by the bit oversharpening, as it shows crooked lines at the edges. Probably you'll get hammered for that, but as I like your composition, I'll still rate it 6.

A closer crop might help - everything in the top half is out of focus and doesn't add much. If you were trying to bring out the texture in the leaf - perhaps backlighting it might have helped. Its an interesting green but to me there is nothing in the picture that grabs my attention - perhaps a crop with the red vein as the diagonal
