My son would love a hand painter board like these. If you crop the right side of the image to remove about a third of the painter, I think you will find that the boards become a stronger focal point in the image and the perspective you are trying to show will become stronger as well.

I can't help but feel that this would have worked better as a colour shot. There's a nice interplay of light & dark happening through the open window, which blends into light & dark respectively through each pane of glass. With the original greens and browns intact, this would've made the panes much more interesting, I think.

I do like the composition and lighting of this. I wish it were a bit bigger! You're allowed 640 pixels on the longest side - be sure to use all the space you can.
