The way this shot was taken, it almost looks like this cat is floatin and his hind legs are in the air. Funny shot

The picture has the feel of a snap shot (lighting, busy background).OK, I'll give you a 6 because It's a cat (cat person) and I naturally find cats funny, plus I'll give you a 1 for the added comic relief (the sock). 7 Jacko.

This is a cool shot! What's up with the back legs...ballerina? (it's on it's toes!) Very good action stop-age! The background is horrible, but with a photo of opportunity like this, you can't always get the best backgrounds, so I'll just ignore it, O.K? (well, how about minus 1 - I can't subtract a partial point!) 7 Swash

Hahah, great shot, she must've been really excited because both her back legs are at the same position, in the air, like she just jumped up. And her markings remind me of a cat that we lost recently at a young age. Nice capture!

I guess you'd have to be there to get the full humor in this. it's strange, but I can't really figure out what the heck it's doing. I assume from the title that that is a sock in it's mouth. Your focus and clarity are ok. lighting is alright as well. I think that if you could have blurred the background, that might have helped. I realize not everyone has this option, so just ignore me if you dont. if you DO though, work with it. I just learned DOF on my new camera, and it's a miracle worker. Good luck in the challenge.

Rather grainy - try either the "Despeckle" tool in your paint program or download Neat Image to reduce the effect of noise on your photo. Perhaps slightly over exposed - no detail is visible in the majority of the white fur. Not what I would consider a "laugh out loud" photo, which is what the challenge asked for. You're also on shakey ground using a pet in your photo because unless the photo is technically stunning, people are going to tend to vote you down.

You got one of these too? Our Calico regularly spends the night bringing back socks from the garage. We usually never catch her with them.
