Dressed To The Ninesby PleasantDreamsComment by GKPhotos: Nice thought. Your models are only marginally unhappy to be photographed. Really make this picture pop by cutting out most of the background and bring the camera down about a foot, so it just looks slightly up to their faces. |

Dressed To The Ninesby PleasantDreamsComment by eschelar: As a guy who has been known to cut a rug here and there and has his own set of vintage 1950's saddle shoes, I'm digging the style here, but photographically, it's got some issues.
Direct flash caused strong shadowing. The BG is somewhat dismal (big white sheets are usually preferred over security signs and birdhouses). The WB is wrong, causing a blue cast (which has done some really bad things to happen throughout the picture, but especially in the flesh tones.... this might also have been the fault of auto levels? I find that it doesn't like skin tones much) and it appears oversharpened, particularly in the grass and the pinstripes in our hep cat's zoot.
It seems swing is still hanging on.
Keep swingin' and keep shootin'! |

Dressed To The Ninesby PleasantDreamsComment by jent: flash is too strong, photo looks over exposed....also the lines on the suite do not look good once shrank. You should try using a de-interlace...I give it a 2 |
