I think I might have liked the photo better without the (stick?) in the forground. I am not sure if it adds anything to the photo for me and It I feel distracts from the subject. On the plus side the exposure is well balanced and has a nice tonal range.

The (large in appearance) blade of grass in the foreground is pretty distracting, to be honest. Also, the object out of focus to the left of the tombstone is distracting mainly because it is a little difficult to identify what it is. Not a bad submission by any means though.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

Unfortunately, candids of animals are really not what I look for in a good candid. Animals are aware and both unaware at the same time of a photographer, nor do they care either way. Too easy, no comfort zone lost. It's a 1 for me. This is also terribly small.
