This is a cool shot. I like the placement of the barn on the left side of the image. We're taught that the subject should usually be on the right side but I think it works well here. Not sure if it's the lay of the land but it seems to be just a bit tilted to the left. I'd try rotating it clockwise a half degree and see what you come up with. Overall a great shot!

Great use of complementary colors in this shot. I think the composition works pretty well. The lighting is pretty good, though maybe a light/reflector on the right could get rid of some of the shadows so the yellow is even stronger. Focus looks good even though the bottom of the grill is a little blurry.

I think the concept and colors of this shot are excellent. I do think that using much deeper DOF would have strengthened the message of "texture" for this challenge, and it would have added significant interest in the shot. I think the lighting emphasizes texture well, and the position of the shell within the frame is great. There is a good deal of grain in the shot which I think degrades it just a little.

well this is lovely.. but i think i woulde have lowerd the red sturation to make the green an blue stand more out. This is a lovely location and fun to see such a bright photo with such a dark sky. Good work and keep them comming.

I cant really figure out whats going on in the middle at the bottom. is that a tree stump , a plank of wood, and a box of some kind? other than that its beautiful. the water is soooo glassy and the trees are perfect. there are some things in the upper right hand corner i cant make out. just some sort of smudge in the sky that would be better off cloned out.
