I like the composition and the lighting, but would like it better without the cigarette smoke (or even the cigarette). However, they don't look hot and since they are wearing dark long sleeved shirts it makes me doubt the day was hot.

This is the 107th photo I've voted on and it's the first one I actually *liked*. I didn't score it very high simply because when I look at it I don't see anything that cries out heat. The word heat is in the title but the image doesn't convey it. If there were perspiration on the subject's forehead and shirt I would have scored it a ten. The black shirts could have shown the perspiration well, too. Excellent photograph anyway. It really tells a story.

I like the facial expression and action in this shot :) I hope others don't ding you for the motion blur 'cause I think it adds to the lighthearted feel of the shot.
