I understand what you are going for here and the concept is good but the shot itself leaves me a bit dizzy. The way the words go in and out of focus and I know that is on purpose to highlight the words you have focused but the effect makes my eyes hurt a bit. And I could be the only one that it does that to. Also if the front of the key was more focused with the word this would really have a more profound effect to me. I'm starting this one at a 7

Good idea, and deifinitely a different approach to the exposed concept. The effect is very successful using the extremely shallow DOF whereby only a few words are in focus and the key disappears into blurriness.

I like the idea and the composition. I would have liked a deeper DoF, or maybe a similar DoF but focus on the tip of the key (which appears to have an interesting texture itself).
