The paint texture is interesting, but maybe some sidelighting and a tighter crop would increase the dramatic feel of the texture. The image feels a tad flat to me.

Sweet! Love the DOF on this one, the single petal left, is it love or is it not? The color on the flower seems a bit dark to the petals in the background and the lines in the background, though muted and out of focus are just a touch (a very tiny touch) distracting to me. But otherwise, creative, unique and wonderful! An 8
