Saw your Mom's forum post in the Underated Song Title entries and had to stop by. Congradulations Taylor!!!! Keep up the good work, never stop learning & having fun and you will soon be seeing a a few 6.0 finishing scores in the your future. Not having seen the music video I cannot approach critiqueing the photo from that angle. But, I will have to take the previous commenters words that it looks like it is straight out of the video. What is good about this photo as a stand alone from the video is the compositional elements and the conceptual symbology. I like that you presented this in a horizontal presentation for it complements and greatly calls attention to the rectangular index card with the message. The depth of Field helps add to the 'conceptual symbology' present in this photo. There is the well known saying that 'People hide behind masks and present their masked face to the world.' The face is blurred and out of focus because it needs to be to call attention to your main subject - the 'mask' of the photo. The main subject of the photo is the idex card with the message to the world stating "Everyone thinks I'm Happy but I'm not" Instead of hiding behind the 'mask', the 'mask' now becomes the method of showing the feelings & emotions most people keep hidden. Great job!

Your theme is great. Left side of photo is quite pleasing (beige garment folds, reddish sweater sleeve focus & light), striped garment divides and makes the right side glare in white tones and makes it difficult to look at the photo as a whole - I look at 1 side or the other...like 2 photos.
