Thanks for the critique. This, as you can tell was straight from the camera with only cropping. I couldn't see the dust on my laptop screen when I submitted it from the hotel room. Those dust bunnies weren't there when I shot the day before at home! A few blows and they are gone now.

are those dust spots in your picture? might want to clean your lens or camera sensors. it also helps if you can do some post processing in PS to clean and enhance the colors.

I was working for our local paper as a part timer (stringer, so I was on the sideline with a press credential). My paper local paper calls when they are short handed.

"How far was he from you when shot was taken?"
This was at about 8 meters (8or9 yards).I have 8fps shots that go from a head to toe shot until the 6m limit switch stopped it from focussing and I bailed out before I got flattened!
