This is a good photo, the woman has the right expression for the shot, and the depth of field achieves a good overall effect. However, I think that perhaps a more interesting or plainer background would have been slightly more effective and possibly greater detail on the flower (?) being held, looks a little like some form of ice cream scoop... Nicely taken though with crisp edges and effective lighting. 7

The picture's just a little too bright to evoke a "night-time" response. It's a nice shot, but I wish it were a bit heavier on the shadows. As a "night shot," I want the image to convey a sense of loneliness and trepidation, and the overly-bright ambiance works against that goal. Altogether, it's good, but it could have been significantly better.
