I think some increased contrast would have helped this one out a lot. As it is it's a little too flat inspite of being an interesting subject. Doing it in color might have also helped it out. After the challenge, I'd really like to see the original.

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are
near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry
in this challenge.

Well, this to me is just a bad snapshot, I hate to say. Too dark, not enough interest, and just looks awful technically. Nothing is in focus. It's just no where near what I like to see or expect in a good candid shot. I'm afraid it's a 2 for me.

I know many will say out of focus but what makes it work is the feeling it gives the image... sleepiness! composition isn't so hot- maybe you could have shot just the guys?
