Fun props. Original with a good link to the challenge. I would probably like the image even more if the distant background were cropped out. It has the potential to take away from the foreground and the main focus of the image.

Your photo does pose a question - sort of. But really the answer is that this is a still life composition which suggests searching. The search could be "why did the photographer compose such a contrived still life?" or "why is such a tiny fisherman using such a huge net?" or, as you said "Where did he go?" I like the reds and the composition. 8.

A perfect visual delight, well made and infectiously toned. The broad, outlined border is too suggestive, IMO, of a purely graphic perception. I speculate that, without the decorum, the range of the photo should extend beyond any commercial appeal and the style of the boots. (?)

Very nice composition and selective lighting. I love the bright colors of the net handle and the boots. The only thing that could be improved on is the title. ("Where did he go?"). Great shot overall.
