The bright colors in the leaf against the background are nice. I like the movement of the water, too. I think a different crop so that the leaf is not so centered would work better here.

Like the bright red leaf. It stands out against an otherwise monochromatic background. Would have liked a sharper focus on the leaf. Of course you couldn't get it, but a shaft of sun just highlighting the leaf would make a very strong composition. Don't know if shining a flashlight would have gotten the same affect, but more light on that leaf would have put the image right up there with a lot of other of the strong photos in the challenge.

picture, in my short experience, look better if they are at the largest size you can get it to...in this case 720 on the long side.
