Hanoi Cycloby jfoussComment by nhuto: Great shot, brings back memory when I used to ride around Saigon on of those. Cyclo operators are usually the poorest in Vietnam society, now with the introductions of the taxi in the past 10 years, many of those operator lives have been changed completely. I believe you can still find cyclos on the streets of Saigon and Hanoi, but those are owned and run by tourism companies, their operators can speak a little of English, are well groomed and equiped with cellphones.
It brings me joy and evokes a noltagic feeling in me to see DPCers submiting their shots about my homeland.
Thank You

Hanoi Cycloby jfoussComment by Skip: nice idea, but i think this should have been a bit sharper to keep it from looking like an accidental grab. the topic is full of potential, and i love the colors, just wish the composition was a bit stronger. |
