Neat idea for the Pi Challenge, shows some imagination on your part. photograph seems kind of grainy though, good color off the steps, shows some good rust spots off the steel bottom rails, visual impact is not all that stunning, but is acceptable enough for the Challenge.

My Opinion-Kandyj, I think this is about the fourth time I've seen this slinky. I don't think they have all been from you either. The focus seems soft or blurred along with the grain. I don't see the kind of detail I'd expect in a macro shot. Maybe a lower ISO here and more light. Still it's good and would sure fit in the 'color' challenge nicely.

as pi i think its okay - but i can see it (as opposed to some other submissions). as a photo, however, its not very original or compelling in terms of lighting, composition, color, etc. i might have even rotated the photo a bit so that the floor/stairs were off but pi was more like pi, and boosted the saturation to bring the red out of the bricks a bit more.
