Practical Rapunselby posthumousComment by Commando303: I don't know; it sort of looks more as though she's trying to salvage a sweater that's flying out the window. Maybe if a bit more of the "hair" were in the shot, and woman wore a more "longing" (rather than shocked) expression. |

cowminglingby posthumousComment by persimon: Great shot. I like how you captured the cows facing in opposite directions. Great DOF with nice focus on the layers throughout the image. Looks great in B&W |

Practical Rapunselby posthumousComment by GrayGhost: Nice idea. Focus on face would be better as well as less motion blur. Try cranking up the ISO. Also cropping out some of the shutter and a little of the out-of-focus bedsheet rope would be better. |

Flower And Shadowby posthumousComment by melismatica: I like this quite a bit. It has that very personal, in the moment quality, of a photographer's vision that is what I enjoy about the art. This is the type of thing that would be nearly completely ignored, if not outright scorned, in a challenge. As someone who is drawn to this sort of subject (I am particularly fascinated with shadows) I understand this image. It reveals a curiosity about line, form, color, textures, etc. and the photographer's desire to simply capture it as he has seen it, without a lot of bells and whistles. Am I making myself clear? I'm not sure. I also like that it was taken with a film camera. |
