spooky, evocative, and I love the concept of the composition: Head + Shadow of Head. Or to expand the formula even further: Head(half in light, half in shadow) + Shadow of Head (which is slightly but noticeably bigger than head, a creepy metaphor for how our ideas/notions/fears become bigger than we are. 8

THis is hard to see. May need a focus adjustment or maybe it was taken from far away and cropped. Mask in shadow and the brick background is a nice idea.

I am totally guessing here, but this looks like the bridge at Providence RI.

The image might have been improved ever so slightly had you managed to incorporate more of the bridge in the image, and cropping out that area to the left of the Lighthouse, a factor which would have accentuated the leading lines, and have guided the viewers from the bridge to lighthouse and sun.

Great job nonetheless.
