It would look more "natural" instead of the mercury being PUT there in the first place. And if you plan to do this again.. maybe pick another spot on your railing that doesn't have the scratches on it?? ~It's Just My Thought.. Only 14.. Too Young To Know If I'm Right.. But Old Enuff For My Own Opinion..
