labret.by eatglitterComment by scalvert: The model and composition are good, but the lighting and B&W conversion are going to kill your score. It looks like you used a flash, then lightened everything to show detail in the hair and blew out the left side in the process. Any richness in the skin is reduced to a patchy white field, and the darkest areas of the eyes and hair on the left are gray. The black spot in the mouth is rather distracting too. Best bet would have been to even out the lighting with a reflector or white poster board on the right side and a softer light source such as a large window on a cloudy day. |
