How about if she was just turning a corner or going through a doorway and only part of the fairy is shown? Or running into the bushes, trees, etc.?

Is this "too late" because she turned away from the camera? There are a number of problems with this picture. The ribbons stand out (being in the foreground) but are out of focus and overexposed. The lighting is very uneven (look at the hair top, middle and bottom, for a wide exposure range). Also picture is very cluttered and difficult to determine what the subject is.
