If you use a tripod or a set place for the camera to be when taking the picture, you can put an item where your eyes (or other desired focused object) would be and manually focus it and leave the lens focused. Afterwards, place the intended item in front of the camera and voila!
It might take some trial and error but with practice you'll get the gist of it.
Aside from the out of focus aspect, this is a lovely image with great composition :) |

Yes, or, if a remote is not available you can put your hand about where you think your eyes would be. Or have someone stand in while you focus....Great idea tho and nice even light.
Also, I notice your aperture was 10? Seems strange that the eyes wouldn't be in focus at that aperture..... Message edited by author 2014-05-28 01:10:27. |
