An interesting image that meets the challenge well.

A landscape that, as you say, lends itself to great images but let down badly by the blown highlights and an unsympathetic composition. The foreground shrubbery serves as a barrier deterring access to the rest of the lovely scene beyond. I think the water could have been better placed in a less central position to enhance the rest of the image. I do like the mountain and cloud formation in the background they form an excellent backdrop. With a little more effort I think the true potential of the scene can be more fully realised, thanks for your entry Jason

What was I thinking?! I only gave this an 8 the first time thru? Must have been in a bad mood. Bump to a full 10. This is a wonderful series of photographs that work very well together. Good luck in the challenge!

Wow squirrel photo! Would love to see that one on its own. I mean, wow! Such a common subject and you've taken a terrific photo. The misty lake is nice but the deer photo seems cut off and overexposed so that one doesn't help your triptych.
