Captain to engine room, need more power!by cycleboyComment by cycleboy: Thanks for the comments. I knew the backdrop would be an issue, but had no time or $ to do better (no time even to iron the sheet). I was actually outside, but there's a stucco wall and window behind the sheet, so that wasn't an option. Being that I was shooting alone (that's me on the bike), it was impossible to try to do a motion shot. I've actually tried that before and it is impossible to get clipped in and pedaling nicely before the shutter releases. The B&W and posterization on my leg was intended. The set up was the camera on the ground with a chair next to it to toss the shutter release onto once I got on the bike and clipped into the pedals. The light is sun coming from almost directly behind me.
I wish I had more time for challenges so I could do better, but you make do with what you have. At least I learn things from this place. |

Captain to engine room, need more power!by cycleboyComment by Dirt_Diver: Your backdrop is all wrinkled and it makes my eyes go right to it. The Tone in the Black and White is not that good. I think you need more contrast and adjust the levels of the blacks. Also the title isn't exactly helping your image. |
