As Sceneby BullwinkleComment by Swashbuckler: Cute play on words (on purpose, right?) title. Nice opposing subjects. Too bad the sky was so grey, to help out with the contrast. Very soft looking snow.

As Sceneby BullwinkleComment by kiwiness: I like the way the snow is trying to eat up that rock on the left, like a blanket of powder just devouring it away. Nice placement of the tower between the two rocks, (I guess that is also a rock on the right).
Does this photo meet the category requirements? Is it a landscape? I guess yes and no really. I like it. |

As Sceneby BullwinkleComment by Harz_Joerg: I like the mood of the picture: the tower looks great and the sky has just enough structure to make a statement (cold and grey day) because it's not overexposed. What disturbes me is the snow covered stone on the left: my eyes are attracted by it, although it turn's out that it is not important. Would have liked it to see more of the trees surrounding the tower. |

As Sceneby BullwinkleComment by indigo997: The snow in the immediate foreground is way too white and distracting. I would have tried a little higher perspective because the sky and tower are really quite interesting. I do like the addition of the snow-covered rock though. |
