I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Lovely coloration and I like how you have controlled the transparency of the various parts of the image.

Critical stuff: It is very disorientating - I actually have to look away after about 5 seconds or I feel dizzy.

Overall: Not quite as effective as it is unusual but interesting nonetheless.

Nice shot- what really makes this is the choice of the background with the subject. The two mix very pleasingly.

Nice lighting for a portrait. Could be improved, I think, with a shallower depth of field to blur the background more. I'm distracted by what's going on there, and there's enough going on in the foreground to keep me interested.
