Aquickbiteby hutch699Comment by docpjv: If you shot this with a bigger aperture, eg f8 to f11, you would have had enough depth to play with a rule of third composition. The web coukld have taken more space if it was part of the pic. Also, use one of those windowcleaner bottles, empty and very well rinsed, fill with clean water and spray it over the web for a raindrop effect. remember the tripod. Please note, this is not critisizm, this is really an attempt to help. good luck. |

Do you use a tripod for these kind of shots... if not, do it and see the sbtle improvements.. I shoot spiders from my tripod and also use my timer control to absolutely minimise ane movement. |

Closeoneby hutch699Comment by docpjv: I love your shot! I have done many spiders and must say this is really a good job. If you could increase the depth of field at all, do it. The deeper the focus the more it jumps out as a great pic. But that being said, still a nice shot! |
