technically, you got the job done, but compositionally/visually, it's a bit too busy. love the colors. hope you can get back out there and try a shot that is similar, but without as much going on.

2 - Good potential. Criticism; 640, in this case height. Perhaps not as tight a crop on the top, dependent of course 'what' is there, would have made this better in my opinion. Nice colors and composition and DOF, as far as I can discern. More detail in the seedheads/textures too, but that may be there at a bigger size so who knows.

Nice clear focus and beautiful colours. Too much going on, IMO. Perhaps removing one or both of the Christmas balls would give a clearer focal point. The red candle on the right also has a distracting lean to it that a slight rotation of the shot may have helped.

Very cute Santa. I would maybe have focused on him and a couple of candles. There seems to be a few too many items in this photo. It would be nice to have a natural object of attention.

Looks like you set your white balance based on the candle light or used a flash and that tends to take away the impact of the candle light.
