technical - i'm wondering why you inverted the colors here, don't really get the point i guess.
composition - i like how you placed the two chess pieces, but i would personally have preferred a simpler background. what is that thing in the back? i would've probably removed it, unless there's some significance attached to it that i'm not getting. also, the shot needs a slight rotation to the left to be level.

surreal, i like surreal, i like the blue pawn intensely but not too sure about the above park of the photo. perhaps... perhaps.. the blue would look awesome superimposed onto some other photo but hey thats just my opinion

I really liked this image. It is simple and yet very powerful at the same time. I am not too sure that it is the best fit for the challenge, but it is a wonderful effort and so I rated it for its quality and how well it works as an image to me. Great job. 8 Morgan
