The flower petals seem a bit overexposed as if there was too much flash used and not enough natural light. Love that you've captured just a touch of the purple and yellows peeking out of the flower though.

3 - Better focus and a more finely tuned crop and more balanced composition, make this better in my opinion. Given you've photographed something white, over-exposure is easy to do, which seems one of the main problems here.

This is a bit too much like a snapshot for me. Very nice for the family photo album but for me, the objective viewer, there isn't much of the unexpected happening and the children haven't been captured in a way that evokes much of an emotional response or draws me in to their game. If this had captured some sort of expression on either of the children--triumphant win, sad defeat, or just plain silliness, it would be more successful.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Children at home playing a game. No real wow factor for me. It is a candid, but I see no emotion, no real story, and what looks like a snapshot of your children just playing a game. It's a 3 for me.
