I love the dramatic effect you have created in this photo! The under exposure IMO adds to the dead roses.

First Impression - the most important one:
Definitely extreme. A little too much on the dark side for me personally, but definitely matches the challenge!
Composition:
I like the crop and composition of the picture, i think cutting out a bit more of the face (as i mention later) and focusing a little more on the pills would add some wow to this picture.
Subject:
I think one thing I should point out, is that for me anyways a lot of the emotion comes from the face. And that’s not supposed to be for this challenge. I’m not sure if her sitting in the sink is the best location for the shot but it works and it needed to be by a mirror.
Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
I have to agree with the comments about the lighting, It is a little on the dark side, even for the nature of the picture, but the colours sort of run together. the picture is lacking the strong contrast.
Artistic:
I think maybe some stronger contrast of colours could add to the artistic element, just to make sure the picture isn't washed out. The model did great though.
To grow its vote?:
It’s a shame to say but I think for the most part people like lighter images, not to say that they are better. I think for me the main issue was as follows:
The lighting, the colours, and the face gives off so much of the emotion.
Summary:
Good picture, good job taking the picture, but watch out for lighting, and the things I've just mentioned.

This image was below your average, but keep on shooting and keep having fun don’t be discouraged. You’ll get more up there with “never ending shopping list” soon. Ps I really like that picture.

Happy shooting, CBoydrun.

Dynamic range is suffering in this photo. Consider looking at the histograms.
