Human Fleshby LERtasticComment by paddles: It's not a brilliant photo, but it gave me a giggle. Well done for choosing models with expressive faces! However the photo does seem a bit too soft - particularly on the male's face and the female's hand, which are key parts of the image. The blown-out highlights on the back of the couch detract from the image too, a dark throw rug or something would have helped counteract this. |

The Dunce Capby LERtasticComment by ericwoo: Hey there from the Critique Club
Camera Work/Technical: Very, very nice. Your focus is crisp and your coloring is perfect for this image.
Lighting: Yet another strength for this image. You did a terrific job with contrasting highlights and shadows to present a very moody photograph.
Composition/Content: I think that the centered composition works very well for this image. The cap provides a great leading line that sends the eye up and down the entire frame.
My Opinion: I think that you were robbed. This is a much better photograph than 5.19. I think including more of the empty basement would have helped the score, but I do get a strong feeling of emptiness with the composition as it is.

Leading to Nowhereby LERtasticComment by Zoomdak: Lovely lighting! Don't really agree with the title though, every path leads to somewhere, even if that somewhere is back where you started. If you think about it "nowhere" doesn't exist. Everything is somewhere. That being said, this is a great example of how a mundane path can be transformed into something beautiful! |
