Humm... The picture looks like a snapshot. It doesn't appear that much thought went into it. It's also out of focus. However, I'm sure she had a great birthday. Keep on shooting.

I think this would be better if she was looking toward the cake or toward the camera. I also think the focus could be better and the color corrected.

Don't be discouraged. DPC is very harsh to blurriness and out of focus shots. The crop is a bit too tight.

However, for all the harsh criticisms I've received and low scoring entries. Realize, that a year of being on this site improved my photography by leaps and bounds. Enough so that numerous friends have commented on it. Including one friend who used to be a photographer commenting that I've improved quite a bit.
