I don't see this as a 1,2,3, or 4 score. I like the composition and the black and white. I think that it may be just a bit on the fuzzy side, but that can be fixed with some unsharp mask or sharpening it up some. Maybe the vothers didn't like the black and white. Not sure. Free studies are harder to score well in because the subject matter is open. Who knows what the voters were thinking.

I am struggling myself with my images and what would make them better. I will continue to try and improve. Lovely shot by the way.

I was looking at your portfolio because we have similar images with the exact same title...your's came first and I PROMISE you I had no idea this wonderful image existed or I would have named my image something else. Sorry, but it was an honest mistake anad btw...your image is far better than my Forgotten image!!

Too soft for my taste. Large blown white area distracts. Otherwise a nice subject, well composed. I like the negative space around the top of the harp and her hair. The top right half of the frame contrasts pleasingly with the bottom left half of it.

beautiful colors and composition, very good sharpness, though there are some sharpening and/or compression artefacts at the edges of both and around the center of the right flower.

I love the silhouette effect. You have taken what could have been a much more simple (and less interesting) sunset pic and created more character by including the shrubs in the foreground. Nice composition and good use of negative space.

This one is really really nice. I like the white background. It really makes the beauty of the sunflower stand out. Nice lighting too. I like the imperfections in the pedals. It looks like you have had a pest enjoying the taste of the pedals. Great shot!
