Having grown up in a city somewhat known for horse racing, this is a good image. Good capture of speed on the turn with the dirt flying, etc.

This is a great action shot. We can see the horses thundering down the curve of the track as their hooves pound into the ground kicking up dirt. As great as this shot is - timing is sometimes everything. To move this photo out of good to great a better shot would have been very similiar to this but it would be more closely cropped to the action AS Well AS capture the faces of the jockeys as they race towards the finish. The photo here has their faces mostly hidden behind the horses - it would really be great to see the looks and concentration of the jockeys as they spur their horse to the finishline.

Great movement and colors. I think an adjustment of curves would really deepen it up. The stop action is well captured.

I really like this. The framing is very nice. The image is clean and sharp, the color is great. Very, very good. The only thing I'm always watching for (because I'm always guilty of it is- things "growing" out of bodies. Not a problem. It's a great photo.

I love the contrast of his soft skin against the rough concrete. Nice composition in the shot. This has a raw touch to it, yet it's still sweet and innocent with his expression.

I like the various colors of the jockey's outfits. Great stop action. I can hear the thunder of their feet and smell the dust!! Excellent racetrack shot.
