It's a very intriguing picture, but I think the DOP is a little too shallow for my tastes. If you had to work with this DOP, you might be better off focusing on the near flowers and letting the shot fade off. The upper right corner with the orange and white draws your eyes, but there's not much for them when they get there. perhaps burn it out a bit or crop it out?

Back to comment: I'm not a huge fan of out of focus foregrounds but it works for this image. However, I do find my eye constantly drawn to the orange blob towards the upper right. It is so close to the flower that is at the rule of thirds that it keeps getting in the way of the main focal point.

IMO I would prefer to have the sharp focus in the lower side of this photo...it is distracting to have the blurred then clear focus then the blurred...like the colors and tones although
