hmm, not bad photo but the colors are flat and composition only tries to be dynamic with these rock in the front, you could crop out the sky to the flag and show more of the rocks ...

Jon, thanks for your comment on my Beach entry and thoguth I would give you a comment in return. This is a cool shot and well composed. I enjoy the colors in the photograph as well. The things I could think about for improvement would be to maybe have shot at more of angle so thatyou could see the birds and down the levee into to the water, or maybe just keep your camera on the birds and when they start to fly away strat taking photos of them. Who know if any of those suggestions are good but just a thought. Thanks again.
